Using SpendWise is simple! Just visit our homepage and you can start tracking expenses immediately. No registration or download is required. Simply enter your total budget amount, then click the "+" button to add expenses as you spend.
No, SpendWise works without requiring an account. All your data is stored locally in your browser. This means you can start using the application immediately without any sign-up process.
SpendWise is a web application that works on all devices including smartphones and tablets. You can access it through your mobile browser. While there isn't a dedicated mobile app in app stores, the web app is optimized for mobile use and can be added to your home screen for quick access.
Features
To export your expense data as a PDF, simply click the "Export PDF" button in the application. This will generate a comprehensive report including all your expenses, descriptions, and the calculated remaining balance. The PDF will be downloaded directly to your device.
Yes, you can delete any expense by clicking the "-" button next to it. To edit an expense, you can directly modify the description or amount in the input fields. The remaining balance will update automatically as you make changes.
If your expenses exceed your budget, SpendWise will display the amount you've overspent in red. This visual indicator helps you quickly identify when you've gone over budget so you can adjust your spending accordingly.
Troubleshooting
Since SpendWise stores data locally in your browser, clearing your browser data or using private browsing can result in data loss. We recommend regularly exporting your data using the PDF export feature to maintain backups. Unfortunately, we cannot recover lost data as we don't store it on our servers.
